Sendoff!!! May 23. Noon. Come support the kids as they leave town.

Good afternoon.
I know many of you have seen that on Monday, May 13, the USD 334 (Southern Cloud) Board of Education made the decision to have two K-5 buildings (one in Miltonvale and one in Glasco). Students in grades 6-12 will be educated in area schools (including Clifton-Clyde) through a contract with USD 334 Southern Cloud.
MANY of the specifics are still to be lined out between Southern Cloud and the surrounding districts. This includes the amount of money that the surrounding districts will receive to educate the students coming from USD 334, as well as, any transportation needs those students may need to get to a surrounding district from where they live.
At Clifton-Clyde we look at this as a great opportunity to welcome new students and show them all the great things we are doing for kids.

CCHS regional track @ Washington. May 16. 1:00 start.
The 6th Grade Field Trip to Cosmosphere is on May 15
They will leave no later than 8:00 a.m. and will return by 5:15-5:30 p.m.
Students will be dropped off in Clyde and then Clifton.
All students need to bring a sack lunch and a small amount of money for the gift shop if we have the time to visit the gift shop. Thanks!
