Good afternoon.
I know many of you have seen that on Monday, May 13, the USD 334 (Southern Cloud) Board of Education made the decision to have two K-5 buildings (one in Miltonvale and one in Glasco). Students in grades 6-12 will be educated in area schools (including Clifton-Clyde) through a contract with USD 334 Southern Cloud.
MANY of the specifics are still to be lined out between Southern Cloud and the surrounding districts. This includes the amount of money that the surrounding districts will receive to educate the students coming from USD 334, as well as, any transportation needs those students may need to get to a surrounding district from where they live.
At Clifton-Clyde we look at this as a great opportunity to welcome new students and show them all the great things we are doing for kids.
